About Vezi

Vezi grew up in the backdrop of one of the most violent episodes in South Africa. Born into a Zulu tribe, which is regarded as one of the most fearless and violent tribes in South Africa, Vezi’s early values formation pivoted around ‘subdue or be subdued’ value system. In contrast however, Vezi was born into a rather placid Christian family. This tranquil family environment however had not prepared him for the rather harsh ‘subdue or be subdued’ value system of the school grounds or that of the cattle herders, with whom Vezi would spend most of his school holiday time. Consequently he often found himself on the ‘subdued’ end of the equation. This extremely dichotomous life created a brokenness that would take Vezi a long time to wrap his mind around.

It wasn’t well into his professional life that Vezi finally confronted his broken formation. During his coach training, Vezi had access to a myriad of cutting edge transformation tools and network of world class coaches. He believed he had all the armour to finally repair his broken cognitive world. However, notwithstanding significant repair work undertaken through coaching and counselling, it still seemed to him there were still parts that were still in disrepair.

Vezi turned to his Christian faith for answers; all night prayers, deliverance sessions, affirmations and prophetic declarations. These too, created a measure of progress in the repair process, but still seemed to miss the elusive broken parts of his cognitive world. It wasn’t until God miraculously opened his understanding, that Vezi started pursuing fellowship with God that it finally dawned on him that the transformation work he had invested so much time seeking, could only be found in fellowship with God. Vezi finally discovered that the kind of transformation he was after was not a self-help project, rather a piece that will always remain missing as long as the human being remains separated from God.

Consequently, Vezi’s passion in life is to facilitate people’s transformation into Christ-likeness. Vezi believes being Christ-like is the strongest preposition for a successful, joyful and fulfilling life.  He believes that becoming like Jesus Christ is not just a pipe dream.
